This was the scene this morning as Maryn left for Phoenix. She starts her job at Wells Fargo tomorrow! There were tears shed because we will miss her, but mostly the tears are of happiness.
It is hard to be sad when you watch your child accomplish goals that she has set for herself. I am excited that she is in the middle of making her dreams come true! So, although we will miss her, she is doing exactly what she should be doing…moving on with her life!
Michael and Linette have graciously welcomed her into their home till she finds an apartment. Hopefully that will be sooner than later, just so that she can really be on her own. But I think it makes a nice transition in the meantime.
Today is a big day! It is the first day of the rest of your life! Way to go Maryn! We are proud of you!
